Merry Christmas Everyone

A Huge Thankyou to everyone in C3 and their families for a fantastic year. Have a wonderful Christmas and we will hopefully catch up in 2010.

End of Year Trip

Here are a few shots of us on our trip to the Mount. When had some fun at the rock pools and learnt some things about sand dunes. After that we had a sand sculpture competition.

C3 Paper Sissors Rock Champion

The things you do on a day that you were supposed to be going to the beach. We had a knock out tournament to see who is the Paper Sissors Rock Champion for C3. Congratulations to Wade Nelson. Great Job at keeping cool under pressure.

Melrose Visit

We went to Melrose Resthome to present our Kid's EE Programme. We gave them some flowers each and had a little chat with them. Our teachers and parents were very proud of how well we did. And the elderly people in the resthome enjoyed having us too.

Before our trip to Melrose Resthome we made up some posies to give to the elderly people there.

Ice Cream Taste Testing Time

Today is taste testing time for our Ice Cream. We each had an ice cream from what we had made. Mrs Carey tried some too and she was very impressed. She said that it tasted delicious.
Here is our recipe in case you would like to try some at home.

Making Ice Cream
Ice Cream is lots of peoples favourite food and we have learned just how easy it is to make.

Materials:
4 eggs
1 cup of whipped cream
1 cup of icing sugar
1 teaspoon of vanilla

Steps:
1. Separate the egg whites from the yokes
2. Beat egg whites stiff
3. Gently beat egg yokes
4. Whip cream
5. Fold in all ingredients into a large bowl until well mixed.
6. Add extra flavourings like chocolate if you like
